Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and available to work a variable work schedule, which may include early and late hours, and weekends and holidays. $8.53/hr. Minimum Qualifications Must be minimum age of 21 (Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control requirement); Availability to work a variable work schedule, which may include late hours, and weekends and holidays; Working knowledge of and experience in the operation of food service facilities; Working knowledge of current sanitation standard standards and ability to adhere to these standard; Must have certification or be able to obtain certification in the “Training for Intervention Program” for serving alcoholic beverages; Working knowledge of Park Authority standards and ability to adhere to standards; Ability to deal effectively with the public; Ability to be flexible in meeting a variety of demands and conditions; Ability to handle money and maintain records of transactions; Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions; Ability to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks including washing beverage cart, checking fluid levels, emptying trash receptacles, etc.; Possession of or ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications; Purchase of standard uniform shirt required. On-Call Catering Attendant/Grill Cook The Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority has immediate openings for Catering Attendants and Grill Cooks at various locations throughout the park system.
